The pUKEs
FREE gig at Islington's most rock'n'roll bar. The pUKEs will delight you with 2 sets - at 10pm and 11pm. Come get drunk and shout along to your favourite punk tunes!
The pUKEs are a 20-strong punk ukulele band based in London. They play songs by the likes of Dead Kennedys, Exploited, Xray Spex, The Clash, etc like you never heard 'em before. Their massive stage presence and raucous live show has landed them slots at Rebellion punk festival and Shoreditch 1234, as well as gigs with many of the bands who inspired them, including Sham 69, Bad Manners, Chelsea, Menace and Subhumans.

The pUKEs are a mainly female ukulele anti society for punks based in London. They cover songs by the likes of Dead Kennedys, Exploited, Xray Spex and The Damned like you've never heard them before.
