What Does The K Stand For?

Stephen K Amos is one of the UK's best-loved comedians, but it wasn't always this way. Join Stephen in a radio sitcom trip back to his South London childhood, in a series co-created with multi-award-winning British playwright Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing, Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and Coronation Street).

What Does The K Stand For? revolves around Younger Stephen's life at home and school, with all the issues of being a teenager, complicated further by also being black, gay and funny.

Stephen K Amos hosts each show, adding stand-up narration and his own comic perspective.

Also starring Shaquille Ali-Yebuah (Casualty, In and Out of the Kitchen) as Young Stephen, Fatou Sohna as Stephanie Amos, Ellen Thomas (Rev, Teachers, Eastenders) as Virginia Amos and Don Gilet (Eastenders, Holby City, Babyfather) as Vincent Amos.
