Paines Plough Theatre Company

An evening of new plays to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Paines Plough.

Paines Plough is an award-winning, internationally renowned touring theatre company. For four decades they have commissioned and produced new plays, helping hundreds of playwrights develop their craft, including acclaimed writers such as David Pownall, Terry Johnson, Dennis Kelly, Jack Thorne, Abi Morgan, Enda Walsh and Mike Bartlett.

2014 sees the company celebrate its 40th anniversary, and Radio 3 is hosting an evening performance that recognises its enormous contribution to British theatre.

The evening will feature short new plays by three of the UK's most exciting writers - Nick Payne, Robin French and Katie Douglas - all of whom are Paines Plough alumni.
