Two floors of exhibitions, displays and film screenings providing a free introduction to Bangladeshi creativity and culture and featuring traditional fabrics, designer fashion, art posters, music, food to taste and photography. Free. No need to book.

Access to the full building and the full range of attractions including each day’s daytime talks, Adda debates and the following exhibitions:-
Textiles & heritage - an exhibition by the Brick Lane Circle, celebrating Bangladesh’s textile heritage, including the history of muslin.
Photographs by Enamul Hoque showing how the famed silks and saris of Jamdani and Benarasi are woven and made and depicting the craftspeople who make them
10 Yard Silks – an exhibition of contemporary fashion designs by Rukia Begum, Nasreen Raja and Karishma Shahani, using the distinctive silks woven in Mirpur, Dhaka – one of the communities where Paraa is currently working to improve the built environment.
London/Dhaka – a photo study contrasting two capital cities, by Shahidul Alam and Enamul Hoque.
Woven Air by Rezia Wahid MBE – textile art by the leading UK-Bangladeshi textiles artists, plus a chance to see a full working loom and with a public weaving demonstration by Rezia Wahid on Sunday 24th February
Fashion Now – outfits by 15 established and emerging fashion designers from UK and Bangladesh.
Silks and sarees – hanging textiles and other examples of work by the silk makers of Jamdani, Benarasi, Tangail and elsewhere, curated by Abu Siddiki

Lokkhi Terra
Lokkhi Terra is a music project created by UK/Bangladeshi musician Kishon Khan - combining Bangladeshi music traditions with those from Africa and Latin America - creating a sound that can truly be called "world music". A musical journey taking you from the melas of Bangladesh to the streets of Habana, via some districts in Lagos on to a bustling club in London.
