Never miss another 'Peace' show
Peace + Drenge
Birmingham indie rockers, Peace, have announced their largest headline tour to date - taking place this winter. They will be joined by Peak District duo 'Drenge' as main tour support. Superfood will also feature, playing Birmingham's O2 Academy and London's Shepherds Bush Empire.
Peace just came back from playing some of their biggest sets to date at Reading and Leeds Festival. On the tour announcement, the band recently stated on Facebook: "This feels like the beginning of something beautiful."
Based out of Birmingham, Peace create drifting, melodic indie rock that merges the crawling atmosphere of classic post-punk with the pop-oriented bounce of modern bands like Vampire Weekend. Formed by brothers Harrison and Samuel Koisser, on vocals/guitar and bass, respectively, as well as guitarist Douglas Castle and drummer Dominic Boyce, the band came together in 2010 before gaining recognition among the UK. press with its debut outing, the Delicious EP, which was released on Columbia in 2012. A full-length effort, In Love, followed in early 2013.
Peace tour dates
Hailing from the Peak District, Drenge are brothers Eoin and Rory Loveless who peddle a fine line in punked up blues-rock mayhem.
Zane Lowe made their forthcoming single "Backwaters" his hottest record in the world and great things are expected from these ultra talented racket makers.
