Voted one of the world's top guitarists by Guitar Player magazine, Juan Martin returns to The Capstone to deliver a powerhouse performance of modern flamenco music and dance.
Juan will be performing his own compositions surrounded by the finest musicians and flamenco dancers for one fabulous night.
Simultaneously creating an innovative, exciting production whilst upholding the great flamenco tradition, Juan’s concert include a range of original compositions along with authentic traditional music. The guitar and singing coming together to create an explosion of fiery passion and raw energy that finds expression through dazzling displays of dance and seductive Spanish style.
Juan Martin
Spectacular flamenco guitarist, twice voted one of the world's top three exponents by 'Guitar Player' magazine. A native of Andalucia, he has recorded 20 albums mostly as a composer. He has played with the Royal Philharmonic and greats like Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock. 'A giant of the flamenco guitar tradition' -The Times.
