Sonophilia - Lincoln's First Festival Of Sound

Sonophilia 2014 is Lincoln's first dedicated Festival of Sound, an exciting programme of music, sound art, information and discussion. Music, art, poetry and installations will be taking place through-out the venue (even the loos...)

Other Ranks, an immersive sound-centred art installation by Lincoln artist, Amie Slavin, opens in the Drill Hall's cellar on Thursday 23 October. An exploration and reflection on the human cost of warfare, and what it really means to sign up for combat roles. It will remain in our cellar until the end of November, though check the website for access times.

Pimento Poets Saturday 25 October, 10:30am -12noon: A Long Time Passing (A Century of Wars) in the Abbey Room.

Hear the world premiere of Simon Le Boggit's computer manipulated perpetual poem Therefore, sonically haunting the toilets throughout the Sonophilia festival!
