Ray Cooper
Ray Cooper is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His repertoire includes his own songs and some traditional songs on such subjects as Love, War and Death By Hanging. On stage he accompanies himself on cello and guitar. Ray now lives in Sweden and many of his songs reflect that influence. Ray Cooper has been a member of award winning group Oysterband for as long as he can remember, both as part of the song writing team and as bass player, cello player and singer. With them he has released 19 CD albums and toured in 27 countries. Known in the trade as Chopper, Ray is now branching out on a much awaited solo project and is presently recording his first solo album.
