Pantalone loves only two things: money and the beautiful Isabella. Unfortunately for him, he hasn’t got enough of one and he isn’t getting any of the other! He also has terrible bad breath. Isabella meanwhile only has eyes for Flavio, Pantalone’s son.

With the help of a couple of crafty servants and a dodgy dentist Pantalone hatches a plan to woo the lady Isabella and dispatch his son and rival to university.

However, it will cost him more than a couple of crowns. The play features a cast of characters including mischievous servants, a loquacious lawyer, a femme-fatale, and a swashbuckling Captain. Throw in a bag of magic sweets with an unexpected side effect and The Dentist is a riotous romp with bite.
