The Tallis Scholars make a welcome return to the Howard Assembly Room after a four-year absence. Leading exponents of early sacred music for over 40 years, this superb a capella ensemble, founded and conducted by Peter Phillips, continues to delight with their beautifully pure tone and exquisite blend of voices.
Performing an inspired programme of English Renaissance music focusing on composer William Byrd, the ensemble offers a festive and moving concert for the Christmas period.
