The Young People's Takeover Festival - Song Writing Workshop With Sharon Stacey

Calling all instrumentalists and singers! Come along to work in small groups to write songs, develop lyric writing as well as creating catchy hooks, aiming for a mini performance at the end of the workshop. Everyone is encouraged to bring acoustic instruments along, but not essential!

Part of a programme of activities planned by and for young people across the venue. Eleven to seventeen year olds looking to test their creativity and develop new skills are given the opportunity to have a go at contemporary dance, learn the secrets of theatrical make-up, try their hand at costume design, hone their script and song writing skills or join a choir.
