Deborah Rose, Carlos Alonso, Livia King, Phillip Holland, John Masefield High School Jazz Band

The emotive Deborah Rose heads a truly excellent variety of talent to support Rotary’s named Charity, Acorn Hospice. Her emotive and timeless voice has been described by folk legend Judy Collins as one of the finest I’ve heard.

Carlos Alonso (tenor) was trained at The Royal College of Music in London and Bath Spa University. He is a member of Opera Sulis and has sung with the Bath Philharmonia Orchestra, and the Bristol Schools’ Philharmonia.

Ledbury resident Livia King is a postgraduate vocal student at the Birmingham Conservatoire. She has sung at various locations including St. Paul’s Cathedral, York Minster, and St. Mark’s, Venice and is a soloist with The Jenny Lind singers.

Philip Holland, co-ordinator of music at Ledbury Parish Church, provides piano accompaniment to the soloists.
