Barratt and Fielding created the characters of Vince Noir and Howard Moon in the upstairs room of a North London pub back in the '90s. Their Edinburgh Festival debut in 1998 won them the much coveted Perrier Award for Best Newcomer and they have since gone on to take BBC TV by storm, whilst picking up more awards for live shows along the way. Portico Quartet
Portico Quartet are four young musicians from South London who sound like nothing you’ve ever heard before. Living and playing together they describe their ethos as like an Indy band that plays post-jazz, and their unique sound has won them fans from Gilles Peterson to Radio 4 and Notion to BBC Music Magazine, and made them Time Out’s Jazz, Folk and World music album of the year.

Buzzcocks
There are hardly any bands performing today that genuinely deserve the adjective ‘legendary’. Buzzcocks are one of those very few. Their achievements are staggering: one of the original holy trinity of British punk (with the Sex Pistols and the Clash), innovators of the independent record scene and genuine punk rock superstars who have been cited as inspirational by bands as diverse as REM, Nirvana and Green Day. Eight studio albums, over twenty singles and EPs, a constellation of compilations, covers by other bands and songs on film soundtracks and advertisements have put Buzzcocks among the top echelons of British recording artists. A Mojo Inspiration award in 2006 is just one of the many accolades they have received for their work.

Cornelius
The acclaimed experimental Japanese recording artist and producer, taking his name from the Planet Of The Apes character.

The Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir
Rare is the band that can captivate both punk rock kids and folk music fans. Rare still is a band that can do this by playing a ferocious combination of traditional blues, Appalachian folk, and ragged gospel. But The Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir does just that.
