The Mighty Doonans

The Doonan family have been part of the English folk scene for many years, firstly as the Doonan Family band and now as The Mighty Doonans. The inclusion of third generation members has revitalised the band and created a power house band with nine musicians. Their musical versatility provides a balance between traditional Irish tunes and folk songs as well as upbeat dance, soul and sax numbers as the band jump between acoustic and electric instruments providing an evening of entertainment that contains a bit of everything.

The Mighty Doonans are a much sought after festival and concert hall band, having played major venues across the country.
