The audience also has a chance to ask Nicola questions about her career and commitment to music education.
Nicola Benedetti
Talented Scottish violinist of Italian descent. By the age of nine, she had already passed the eight grades of musical examinations. In 2004 she came to prominence as the winner of the BBC Young Musician Of The Year Competition and has since gone on to win the 2008 Classical BRIT Award for Young British Classical Performer. Nicola made her BBC Proms debut in August 2010.
