'Burns! (Your Bard, By the Way)' is an original, exciting portrayal of the life of Robert Burns. Two actors play many of the characters who shaped the poet's life and works, moving seamlessly across age, gender and class. Hilarious comedy contrasts with heart-rending tragedy, interwoven with beautiful song. With a dialogue in rhyming Scots, and featuring some of Burns' best-loved poems, including a dramatic recital of Tam o' Shanter, there's plenty here for the Burns enthusiast as well as the newcomer.
