The Book

The Book is the new play by Yorkshire based theatre company Flying Cloud.
With their unique blend of new writing, interactive design, movement and original music, the play describes three incredible journeys and one amazing book.

Following on from the success of their debut show Napoli, The Book invites you on an intrepid journey; a beautiful idea is captured in a book but its interpretation stretches dangerously beyond the author's imaginings.

Relevant to today's society, the play looks at how one book can be interpreted in different ways by different cultures in different eras exploring themes of cultural manipulation, dogma and political persuasion.
