Monkey's Fist is a folk band formed in November 2000, specialising in maritime songs, shanties and ballads. Following several changes it has evolved into a four-part group consisting of Alan Collier, Steve Flude, Colin Devey, and John Horsey.

Kevin Dempsey

Kevin Dempsey has music in his soul. His multi-facetted career is testament to his talent as a guitarist, singer, songwriter and record producer. Kevin has built up a reputation as one of the music industry's hardest workers. Having worked with everyone from Percy Sledge to Mary Black and Alice Coltrane, Dempsey is currently working with folk groups Swarb’s Lazarus and Uiscedwr, and fiddlist Joe Broughton.
