Andy Eastwood lifts the lid on those famous Formby techniques such as the Split Stroke, Triple and Fan, demystifying that right-hand blur by breaking the elements down in slow-motion.

This workshop will be informative to players of all levels, and those with Formby style expertise will be encouraged to demonstrate for an expert analysis! Ukes and banjo-ukes are welcome, and all attendees are invited to tweet or email Andy before the Festival with their requests for particular songs, topics and questions to be covered!

Andy will not only show how the strokes work in the context of a dazzling banjolele solo, but also how the principles of George Formby's technique can enhance all aspects of your rhythmic playing.

Level: Mixed level, but not absolute beginners.
