Grayshott Folk Club Presents: The Acoustic Strawbs
Our wandering troubadors are back! Dave Cousins, Dave Lambert and Chas Cronk return to Grayshott Folk Club to delight us again with songs from Strawbs' amazing back catalogue which includes albums such as; "Grave New World", "Hero and Heroine" and "Bursting At The Seams".
Together these three talented musicians make up Strawbs' front line and produce a fulsome sound.
Last time around we sold out (and one keen fan flew over especially from Norway for the gig), so get your tickets early.

The Acoustic Strawbs
The Strawbs have enjoyed major success on both sides of the Atlantic. In the early 1970s, as well as the hit albums, their hit singles "Part of the Union" and "Lay Down" topped the charts. From the mid-1970s they spent more time in the States and Canada where their albums charted for five years as they toured with Santana, The Eagles, Peter Frampton, Blue Oyster Cult, Joe Walsh, King Crimson, and Frank Zappa.
