The Sound Of Music
This classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical is loved by old and young alike.
Based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers, the original Broadway production opened in 1959 and was adapted in 1965 for the silver screen. The film starred Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer, and won five Academy Awards.
Now HAODS brings this delightful musical to Henley – a show packed with all your favourite songs such as Edelweiss, My Favourite Things, Climb Ev'ry Mountain, Do-Re-Mi and, of course, The Sound of Music.

HAODS was formed in 1922 and each year usually puts on two musicals and a play at Henley's Kenton Theatre.
