Never miss another 'Sir Ranulph Fiennes' show
About this event
When world renowned explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes turned his attentions from the frozen wilderness of the Poles to the world's highest mountains he faced several challenges. In his sixties and recovering from a very severe heart attack, he had no climbing experience and suffered from vertigo!
This is the inspirational story of how he climbed 2 of the most dangerous mountains in the world.
Sir Ranulph will be interviewed live by acclaimed mountaineer Ian Parnell who filmed Ranulph on both mountains.
See www.speakersfromtheedge.com/theatre-tours/sir-ranulph-fiennes-everest-eiger-more for tickets and further information.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes
Described in the Guinness Book of Records as 'The World's Greatest Living Explorer', he has led over 30 expeditions. He has written a biography of Captain Scott, to set the record straight; the first biography of Scott written by someone who has suffered the same deprivations, stress and sheer physical strain.
