About this event
Karen Sharp, tenor sax, baritone sax took up the saxophone whilst studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. Since relocating to London in 1999 she has become a busy freelance musician working alongside many top class British and American musicians including Alan Barnes and Scott Hamilton. In March 2004 she began a three year spell in Humphrey Lyttelton's Band and also established her own quintet producing three albums. This new quartet features Nikki Iles, piano, Dave Green, double bass and Tristan Maillot, drums. Presented by Friends of the Upton Jazz Festival
