WPA–Pinfold: Art Is Rubbish

Last year the Leeds-based design consultancy WPA Pinfold invited its staff and creative associates to produce 23 art works that could be sold to support ‘Aid to Hospitals Worldwide’ – a charity which refurbishes ‘superseded’ medical equipment and donates it to hospitals around the world where it can continue to save lives.

The exhibition theme, ‘Art is Rubbish’, duly highlights the idea of recycling. The staff at WPA Pinfold – along with creative friends and business partners – have been scouring the bins and transforming discarded trash and unwanted junk into extraordinary works of art. As you might expect from people in the creative industries, this is an exhibition full of imagination and skill.
