A Band Apart

On Saturday 27th September, The Boileroom will be celebrating eight years as Guildford’s Independent Live Music Venue, with a Quentin Tarantino-inspired birthday bash!

Go dressed to impress as a character from one of the seminal directors’ cult films. Grab a $5 milkshake from tiki bar in the garden; or a frozen margarita from the Titty Twister bar; dine from House Of Blue Leaves noodle bar; or enter the Jack Rabbit Slim’s dance competition to win a bottle of bubbly and a meal for two!

They’ll have DJs and live music from London 7-piece The Tarantino’s, playing all the best known hits from the likes of: Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Dusk Til Dawn, Django Unchained, Deathproof and Inglorious Basterds to name a few. The band embody the style and attitude of the films and mix the music with movie sound bites, re-enactment of scenes, slick choreography and sharp costumes.
