Trio Threlfall

This will be the third visit to the club by Jane & Amanda Threlfall and Roger Edwards and is guaranteed to be as magical and as enjoyable as their previous two evenings. Their arrangements and performance of English traditional songs is exquisite, with a very strong emphasis on the words and the melody, underpinned by technically accomplished musicianship.

Jane and Amanda accompany their flawless harmonies on bouzouki, fiddle, guitar and keyboard augmented by Roger's gentle, skilful concertina playing. Their repertoire is firmly English traditional and although many of their songs tell sad and melancholy stories they are such warm and engaging performers that the overall experience of an evening in their company is simply uplifting.
