Dartmoor Pixie Band, Sarah Bazely

Back by public demand this is the last of a limited season of three dances. And what better way to go out with a bang than with one of the West Country's finest dance bands.

The Dartmoor Pixie band come from the heart of Devon and are steeped in the musical and dance tradition of their native Dartmoor. Their mix of melodeon, piano accordion, banjo, drums and bass produce a unique sound that will make you want to get up and jig!

The band can trace its history over several generations and their style and repertoire is distinctly their own. Similarly their resident caller, Sarah Bazeley, has a fabulous selection of very enjoyable dances.

GBH Ceilidhs have been going since 1976. The raison d'etre has always been to book the best and most exciting English folk dance bands and dance callers from all over the country. Experts and newcomers are all welcome, especially the latter as it is important that we keep the tradition alive and thriving.
