Perch: A Carnival Of Flying And Falling

On a building high above the city streets, a figure looks down, a huge set of wings upon its back. On the ground below, a menagerie of strange, spectacular creatures call to the figure. Will it fly or will it fall? This is Perch, a carnival that celebrates our dreams and fears of flying...and falling.

Involving spectacular aerial stunts and over two hundred perfomers, including Scotland’s leading street artists, circus performers and aerialists, a mass community choir, emerging artists and community performers, and the 86-piece National Youth Orchestras of Scotland’s Senior Orchestra, Perch is a once in a lifetime experience.

Inhabiting the whole of Rottenrow Gardens in Glasgow – and the towering buildings and rooftops that surround it – Perch will make audiences see the world from a number of very different perspectives.
