Vance Joy, Ezra Vine

Following his Top 10 breakthrough hit Riptide, Vance Joy has confirmed a brand new UK headline tour, playing a string of dates across the country in the Autumn.

Not just a hit in the UK, Riptide has also just been voted #1 Triple J’s Hottest 100 for 2013 in his native Australia, beating Lorde’s ‘Royals’ and Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ to the number 1 spot.

Vance has been recording his debut album with Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers) in his Bear Creek Studios, near Seattle, ready for release in 2014. "I've been in Seattle recording for my album, they actually have a tree house studio.” A lover of the outdoors, he loved being 20ft up in the air, where he thrived in the unique recording space. "The time I spent here was really great. It was cool being able to live at the studio”.

Tipped by everyone from The Sun to the Daily Star, The Telegraph and Clash, in addition to Shazam naming him in their ‘Ones To Watch’ alongside Sam Smith and Banks, 2014 is set to be Vance Joy’s year!
