Hunterian Associates Open Evening

This special event is an opportunity to enjoy presentations by The Hunterian Associates - postgraduate researchers inspired by The Hunterian's world class collections.

The Hunterian Associates Programme provides a platform for postgraduate researchers to share knowledge and develop new skills, working either individually or on collaborative projects.

This year, ten researchers from the Graduate Schools of the Colleges of Arts, Science and Engineering and Social Sciences have actively engaged with the extensive collections of The Hunterian and Special Collections. This event will showcase the eight projects below.

Come along to experience these fresh interpretations of the collections. Prospective Associates for 2015 can also find out how to apply.

The Projects

1. Drawn Together: A conversation with the collections and artist residency by Jo Neil
2. First Crusade Fictions: A blog with a fresh look at prints and writings about the First Crusade by Ioulia Kolovou
3. Glasgow Sonnets: The poems of Edwin Morgan and related paintings by Joan Eardley by Kirsty Strang
4. Hunting Rebels: A new look at Hunter's manuscripts about the Northern Rebellion of 1569 by Jade Scott
