About To The Wonder

Neil (Ben Afleck) is an American engineer enjoying a blissful relationship with the free-spirited Marina (Olga Kurylenko). He asks her and her ten-year-old son to come and live with him in America. However, once they settle themselves in Oklahoma Neil and Marina find their relationship becomes strained, and Neil's job doesn't help. He is working on contamination problems in the local soil and his neighbours react nervously to his investigations. A childhood friend (Rachel McAdams) seems to offer Neil an escape from his declining love for Marina, but should he make the leap? The town's priest (Javier Bardem) is also experiencing a crisis, wondering if God has deserted him as he perfunctorily administers care and advice to his dwindling flock.
