Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine initiate Tom Hardy into the romcom business with this spies-in-a-love-triangle action hybrid. Hardy and Pine play spies for the CIA with sharp suits and even sharper shooting. They're best friends who spend their time diving off roofs and dodging bullets. But even when they're pencil-pushing they know that they have each other's backs and can trust each other. This bond is tested when they both fall for Lauren (Witherspoon), a smart, beautiful woman who is trying to keep her options open. Encouraged by her outspoken friend (Chelsea Handler) to play the field, she decides to dates both men. But the stakes are a little higher than usual for these romantic rivals as guns and gadgets are involved, and they try to sabotage each other using all of their spying know-how.
