About The Perks Of Being A Wallflower
Charlie (Logan Lerman) is a bright but troubled teenager living in Pittsburgh in the early '90s. Affected by the recent death of his best friend, he writes a letter to a stranger on the eve of starting high school, expressing his wish to be less shy and more proactive. At first it seems he is destined to be bullied by the more popular children, and the only bond he forges is with his understanding English teacher (Paul Rudd) who encourages his literary aspirations. But when he meets extrovert Patrick (Ezra Miller) and his vivacious step-sister Sam (Emma Watson), they slowly bring out a more confident side in him and introduce him to the scary yet exhilarating world of recreational drugs and sexual experimentation.
