Another spooky found footage film that's become a surprise hit in America. It mixes the jump scares of 'Paranormal Activity' with the religious theme of films like 'The Last Exorcism' In 1989, a woman named Maria (Suzan Crowley) brutally murders three people while apparently possessed. Despite being an American citizen she is sent to a mental institution in Rome for some reason. Decades later, her daughter Isabella (Fernanda Andrade ) learns of her mother's crime and comes to Rome to make a documentary about it, which seems like normal behaviour. Maria is still plagued by demonic forces so Isabella enlists the help of two priests to perform an exorcism, but even they aren't safe from dark spirits that mutilate flesh and fling people against walls.
