About The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Spider-man returns to battle new foes and continue trying to balance his ordinary life as Peter Parker with the duties of being a web-slinging superhero for the people of New York. To that end Peter (Andrew Garfield) breaks up with his girlfriend Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) who is finding his double life difficult to deal with, and she prepares to travel abroad. Nerdy, overlooked employee of Oscorp Max Dillon (Jamie Foxx) becomes vengeful villain Electro after an accident at work and Peter is distracted by attempting to resolve the new threat. Meanwhile, Peter's childhood friend Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) inherits his father's wealth and shows signs of villainy beneath his sickly exterior. Can he be saved by rekindling his friendship with Peter?
