About The Adventures Of Tintin

A young man and his dog have adventures around the world in this star-studded family adventure based on Hergé's classic comics. Tintin (voiced by Jamie Bell) meets the swarthy Captain Haddock (motion capture maverick Andy Serkis) and discovers a clue that might lead them to some ancient treasure. They're helped on their journey by a prison escapee, Tintin's faithful dog Snowy and Detectives Thompson and Thomson (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost). Daniel Craig plays the villainous pirate Red Rackham. Hopefully 'Tintin' will have more in common with mo-cap classic 'The Polar Express,' or the first three 'Indiana Jones' movies, than recent flop 'A Christmas Carol.' But with an interesting cast and the creative input of Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish and Peter Jackson, the outlook is promising.
