The sequel to the 2006 documentary, Who Killed The Electric Car? After introducing the EV1 to the market in the late 1990s, General Motors had withdrawn all models from dealers and owners and destroyed them all by the mid-2000s. Filmmaker Chris Paine meets some of the men who've facilitated the reinvention of the electric car. Bob Lutz is the man who went back to the drawing board and helped create the Chevy Volt, which is now selling well along with the Nissan Leaf and Ford Fusion. On the other end of the spectrum, Greg Abbott buys vintage cars and fits them with electric motors. His business isn't the safest but he's determined to bring the benefits of the technology to those who can't afford a million dollar Tesla.
