About Passport to Pimlico
Classic Ealing comedy set in the London borough of Pimlico in post-war England. After making safe a German bomb, the locals discover an old document, which outlines a secret treaty explaining that Pimlico actually belongs to the Duchy of Burgundy. Anarchy reigns as the restless natives decide to declare independence to avoid English laws, taxes and rationing. The Border Crossing scene in the London Underground is a classic.
