About Mean Girls

Lindsay Lohan stars as Cady Heron, a home-taught girl who lived in Africa and is now starting high school in Chicago. She is befriended by the outcasts - a goth girl and a gay boy. They try to enlist her help in toppling Regina, leader of the prom-queen clique known as the 'Plastics'. But brainy Cady is torn: does she help her new friends, or try to become a 'plastic' herself? The plot is familiar and it's not up there with Heathers or Thirteen, but the laughs keep on coming, helped in large part by the teachers, played by well-known American comedians. Bitchy, clever, barbed and funny.
