A film written and directed by its star, Josh Radnor, known for his role as Ted in How I Met Your Mother. He plays Jesse, a university admissions officer in his mid-thirties who is finding his life has stalled in the big city after he breaks up with his girlfriend. Returning to his old university for a professor's retirement party, he meets Zibby (Elizabeth Olsen), a beautiful and intelligent 19-year-old student. The pair are soon pretentiously conversing about classical music, but both worry about the age difference. One of Jesse's other former professors, Judith (Allison Janney), provides a contrast to Zibby with her frankness and weary cynicism. Or perhaps the age-appropriate Ana (Elizabeth Reaser) is the right match? Pity poor Jesse and his smorgasbord of attractive potential partners!
