About Khumba: A Zebra's Tale

An animation that mixes the buddy movie dynamic of The Lion King with the zaniness of the Madagascar films. Khumba is a unique zebra as his stripes only cover the front half of his body. His herd are superstitious and insular and he knows little about the other animals as the zebras live behind a wall of thorns. When drought hits the community, Khumba is seen as the cause because he is different. He decides to prove his worth to his herd and his grumpy father (Laurence Fishburne) in particular. So he sets off in search of a mythical watering hole said to be the place where the first zebra got their stripes. Along the way he meets a feisty but caring wildebeest (Loretta Devine) and a foppish ostrich (Richard E. Grant).
