The clueless, bumbling spy is back. This time around, Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) has to stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader. English has been off the grid after the events of the first film, stripped of his knighthood and fired from MI7. However, he's been using his time wisely, practising his unique skills with mystic warriors in Asia. But when an attempt is made on the Chinese premier's life, MI7 call him back into action. Their informant will only speak with him, so he is despatched along with a younger agent to wreak havoc through Hong Kong and the French Alps. A family comedy that relies on slapstick and Atkinson's silly faces rather than gross-out gags and swearing, this also stars Gillian Anderson, Rosamund Pike and Dominic West.
