About Jeff, Who Lives At Home
A film about two brothers, destiny and familial responsibility from the directors of Cyrus. Jeff (Jason Segel) lives in his mother's basement and considers a trip to the DIY shop to buy wood glue as a big event. One day when he's musing on the power of the M. Night Shymalan movie Signs, he receives a call from a wrong number asking for 'Kevin' and decides that the universe is trying to send him a message. And when he runs into Pat (Ed Helms) who is having marital problems, it seems Jeff has found a purpose. Climbing into Pat's Porsche (his latest mid-life crisis purchase) they follow Pat's wife to see if she's cheating on him. Meanwhile, their lonely, patient mother (Susan Sarandon) deals with a secret admirer.
