About Jack Reacher

Action pixie Tom Cruise runs around in a leather jacket and heels for our entertainment. Based on the popular novels by Lee Child, this movie introduces us to Jack Reacher (Cruise), a taciturn ex-military investigator with a talent for sending bad guys to the hurt locker. He has his work cut out for him when a sniper kills five people during rush hour. The suspect was in the army with Jack and is known to be a killer, but protests his innocence. Jack is convinced of his guilt but wants to be absolutely certain and decides to help defence lawyer Helen Rodin (Rosamund Pike) gather evidence. He uncovers a conspiracy that leads him to a confrontation with a fearsome Russian gang.
