About I Give It A Year

Ambitious Nat (Rose Byrne) meets struggling novelist Josh (Rafe Spall) at a party, and despite not being exactly the same in every aspect of personality, temperament and socio-economic standing they get along famously and eventually get married. All of their friends and family share the opinion that soon Nat and Josh will realise that they aren't compatible and their union will explode in a hail of emotional disappointments, bruised feelings and ugly crying. Instead of emigrating to Australia to escape these terrible people, Nat and Josh muddle through in the face of all naysayers. Josh's ex-girlfriend Chloe (Anna Faris) turns up to make trouble and a handsome work colleague (Simon Baker) catches Nat's eye. This puts additional pressure on the couple who should probably just give up and date people who agree with everything they say.
