About Friends With Kids

A comedy about two best friends with an unusual arrangement. Jason (Adam Scott) and Julie (Jennifer Westfeldt) have known each other for years and are considered by many people to be a virtual couple. Their friends Ben and Missy (Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig) are deeply in love and have a sex life that is the talk of their social circle. Leslie and Alex (Maya Rudolph and Chris O'Dowd) are less passionate but still happy. Fast forward four years and both couples have found their relationships souring somewhat with the arrival of parenthood. So Jason and Julie agree to have a child together, but remain platonic friends. The arrangement works surprisingly well until Jason meets young dancer Mary Jane (Megan Fox) and Julie falls for Kurt (Ed Burns), who already has kids.
