About Cosmopolis

Set sometime in the future Cosmopolis is the story of Eric Packer (Robert Pattinson), a 28 year old multi-billionaire asset manager who makes an odyssey across mid-town Manhattan. The reason? He's whimsically decided to get a haircut from his father's old barber. Eric's anxious thoughts focus on the Yuan exchange rate: it is mounting against all odds and his own predictions. He's losing more money with every minute that passes – but assassination attempts and strange occurrences prompt him to wonder how much he really values his empire. His bizarre ride to the far side of humanity is obstructed by traffic jams caused by a presidential visit to the city, a funeral procession for a Sufi rap star and a riot. This also stars Juliette Binoche and Paul Giamatti.
