About Bad Santa

An acerbic antidote to the saccharine-soaked forced frivolity of your usual yuletide movie. Willie T Soke (Billy Bob Thornton) is an alcoholic department-store Santa who, with his diminutive side-kick elf (Tony Cox), rob a different mall every Christmas after holing up in the grotto at the end of the day. However, this year, Willie also get himself involved with a kid named Thurman Murman, who thinks he's the real thing... This being a Zwighoff film, viewers can expect a bilious, sardonic reversal of the typical seasonal offering. It's pretty funny, but by the end it's a little bloated.
