Southwold Literature Festival Ways With Words

Five glorious star studded days on the east coast in Suffolk. Watch the waves crash on the shingle, take a bracing walk by the sea, and be fired up by ideas sparked from the Southwold Festival of Literature this November.

For five days from 6-10 November wordsmiths including Charles Spencer, Alan Johnson, Richard Coles and Timothy and Shane Spall will assemble at this charming town on the North Sea Coast to talk about life's lessons, revolutionaries and predicaments (among other things).

For lovers of words and ideas there is much pleasure to be had listening to talks inside St Edmunds Hall and in between time festival goers can explore Southwold's church, museum, galleries and lighthouse and relax in the comfortable Swan or Crown Hotel.
