Kendal Calling
Kendal Calling is an award winning festival set in the rolling hills of the Lake District, described by many as 'the Glastonbury of the North'. With multiple stages and areas, Kendal Calling has something for everyone and is loved by families and groups of friends alike.
Friday night's bill will be headed up by the mighty Maximo Park, Saturday night will see the return to Kendal Calling of the one and only Dizzee Rascal, and closing the show on the Sunday night will be Indie kings James.
This year also featureds 'Tim Peaks Diner', the creation of The Charlatans’ frontman Tim Burgess, who curates 3 days of music, book readings, live art, DJs, breakfasts, afternoon tea, jukebox jives – not to mention damn good coffee! The diner will also serve up Kendal Calling’s exclusive breakfast cereal called Totes Amazeballs, with all profits from the Diner going to the David Lynch Foundation
About more than the music, Kendal Calling revellers love dressing up and flock in their fancies for 3 days of dancing, juggling, contortionists, comedy, site art and much more on top of the world class line-up.
Kendal Calling HQ have secured another spellbinding bill of acts set to grace the 11 stages along with a myriad of performers, art and exhibits all set to descend on one of the UKs most breathtaking festival sites.
